Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering (SVCE) is a well-known college established in 1985 under the Sri Venkateswara Educational and Health Trust (SVEHT) in Chennai. The college is established by Pujashree Kanchi Kamakoti Peedathipathi Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal. The Chairman of the Governing Council is Dr. A. C. Muthiah, a well-known engineer and industrialist. Built on a vast campus of 95 acres of lush green land, SVCE has a full-fledged infrastructure: good classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sporting places, hostels and canteens.
